OK.... cause i want to answer this.. i'll grab my calculator first.

so first of all.. i think we need to conver your givens..

man runs constant for 12 km/h = 3.33m/s
Time = .20 hours = 720 seconds

next time T2= .10 hours = 360 seconds

Distance is = 4.8km = 4800 meters

So the formula for average velocity is = V1 + V2 divided by 2..i think..if i do recall properly..

so we want to know how far that guy runs at his first constant constant velocity.. so do the multiplication.. Distance = 2400meters (rounded off)

Oh wait.. crap.. i don't know what to do anymore.. anyways.. gudluck with that..:P sory..
