The 2,973 that died on the attack of 9/11? or
The 180,000 that died on US-led war on terror?

I'm just wondering, because during all live telecast of 9/11/06 memorials there were no mentions of others who died accept the 2,973.

We should remember and pray for all the victims but most importantly we should remember 9/11 as a notorious event in which criminals within our government attempted to hoodwink the country into believing it had been attacked by foreign terrorists and in so doing attempt to justify illegal wars against other sovereign countries.

I was also a serious blow against democracy in that it was used to seriously undermine our constitution.

I'm not sure about your numbers but I would say we should surely commemorate EVERYONE who has fallen. The "victims" of 9/11 and their families as well as the "battle soldiers" killed and their families. I used to buy season tickets to pro football games (I chose not to say where) and now my family - who used to enjoy watching a good football game - will not go! 9/11 did that!

The ppl who did this "unthinkable" act considered themselves as soldiers in a battle for allah and believed they would be rewarded for their act! They admit to making no distinction between military or (including children!) civilians. War is not a joke, and we are in one up to our collective butts! Regardless of who started it or why, we are in it! Every country on this planet, to one degree or another, sooner or later, is on a helbent, sure fire, course of destruction, and it comes to us in the name of GOD - whoever or whatever that might be for you. Ppl are being killed and we (the WORLD) have yet to stop it - permanently. There is a way to stop it, of course, but we would annihilate many innocents and offend some sensibilities, I'm sure.

Our lives (US citizens mainly) have been forever altered by this act and we shall continue to be until we either give in - convert to islam - or we decide to do the unthinkable.

I've posted elsewhere on this board and I'll be frank, I'm ill from just hearing about jihad, who did what and who didn't, allah, conversion, and all the while the numbers of the dead, mutilated, and dying keep going up! I feel it's time we write out representatives in Washington and let them know it's time to "un-think" this thing and just stop it. Once and for all. World opinion be dam*ed.

Let me offer this;
If a neighbor you knew had a dog, and this dog fataly attacked some children waiting for a school bus, most ppl would surely feel the animal ought to be put down. But wait, you cry!! It's not the dog's fault! The dog didn't know any better! It was the owner, or the handler, or whatever! Well, while on principle I would have to agree, it is also my opinion muslims are NOT DOGS! They KNOW what they are doing, and more importantly, they know why they are doing it. Insensitive as it may sound to some, they need to be put down.

In my mind, the idea of merely permitting this “religious genocide” on any level, in any country, is totally unacceptable. Our economy, our personal lives, our very life style - as a free world community - is in serious doubt. Time for the blame-game to end. We do have the power. Have we the will? They do. They've shown it to us. Can we just hope we don't see it again?

I have no idea. Honestly I think it's kind of a disgrace that all the major networks are using the 9/11 tragedy to boost their ratings. I really feel like they're basically just using this as an opportunity to make money. My Wife however thinks I'm wrong.

We should commemorate the people who died on 9/11 (although bush used it to make a political speech). Memorial Day, but really everyday, is when we should commemorate ALL Soldiers who have fallen in battle.

The way you phrased your question shows your hatred for America. It also shows your contempt for freedom. Your twisted perverted view of the war on evil American was forced into. Despite the hate people like you have for America. Despite your desire to see this great nation to be destroyed America will prevail both against the evil of terrorism and against the hate crazed liberal Nazi wackos like you.
