Go to your local library. DO NOT LOOK ONLINE. lol. places like poetry.com has a lot of poetry, but most are really immature ones that 15 year olds write about their secret crushes.
Some people think that they can just put up crappy poetry on their site and get away with it cause they can. so don't bother looking at online sources unless you know the person who wrote is a legible poet and known for their writing.

Everybody has their own favorite poets, but a good starting place is to pick up a few poetry anthologies from the library, or a local used bookstore (the gold mines, as I call them). Anthologies will include many of those poems that are generally agreed to be classic, historically significant, or just plain good. I only tend to look online if I need to find a specific poem that I don't have handy in a book. A recently published collection that I found to be very nice is "Good Poems," compiled by Garrison Keillor, a writer and radio host ("A Prairie Home Companion"). His selections are generally good, and while there are a number of well-known poets included, it is not the typical high school textbook selection of poems.

Wait for a few months or years until I publish my poetry. Or go to the library if you are impatient.
