Do you believe this Earth to be just a sequence of catastrophic coincidences? Or is there more. Do you think that we can break down even the most complex phenomenons into a sequence of simple predictable events that follow our scientific and mathmatical parameters. How do we explain coincidences, synchronicities, and serialities?

Probability is explained to a certain extent. Carl Jung and Wolfgang Pauli go into greater detail about how probability cannot always explain coincidences.

Umm. my philosophy is that you live, you die and then your dead. Who really cares. How is contemplating on life going to better me anyway? It doesn't so I don't care

Thank you, loser

If you analyze anything to long you may just find an answer but the answer may not be what you were expecting or wanting. Live life to the fullest, to the best of your ability. I think that everything happens for a reason but I am not going to look so deep in to that reason that I loose myself or something that I value the most. It is better to live your life the best way possible. Scientist are coming up with to much these days. We should just live instead of analyze so much of our everyday lives. Let the sky be blue just because it is blue not because of some scientific reason for it being that color. If the sky were any other color would it still be the sky is the real question. Beats me but I am not gonna look the gift horse in the mouth when it comes to life.

why are we here??? That's the oldest question ever to be... So many people pondered on it... and I find so funny that so many religions seems to claim to have the right answer.

There is no answer for now... and we are most likely to kill ourselves with global warming and all of that stuff before we even come close to finding an answer! But I do believe that everything happens for a reason... and that with time... we will discover more and more things in science that will help us understand the universe.

There is a mathematical law that explains why when you look for something... you never find it... Murphy's law. There has been study in the geometry of object that are considered beautiful to explain why are brains consider somethings as beautiful or not. But to understand everything is impossible... I also believe that our intelligence is also a curse... because we so often let our intelligence surpass our instincts. We tend to forget about them instead of listening. Animals are always in balance with nature... and yet we are not because of our intelligence.

So I believe that yes... everything is probably mathematically or physically or chemically explainable... but will we ever find all those answers no. And maybe we should spend less time searching... but feeling more... to just live! Never forget what nature gave us... its a powerful tool! Althought it is in man's nature to question himself... we need to stop looking for answers all the time... and just marvel at the complexity of that well orchestrated and complex system that is our universe/world.

We can probably keep on explaining complex phenomenons and solving difficult questions in the universe, but I don't know if there will ever be an end. About coincidences, it's explained by probability.

Complex phenomina can not be fully predicted due to the uncertainty principle (thank you Hiesenburg); which results from the wave-particle duality of matter.

Coincidences are easily explained by probablility. They aren't as amazing as one may think.

Just enjoy life!

I believe in Creation, as far as all that goes.

My philosophy in life is "You'll never be 'ready' for anything."

If I had waited until I felt 'ready' to do something, I would have nothing done.

I believe that we evolved because the Universe needed help in understanding itself.

Live and let live, and the golden rule.
Most explanations are just guesses, and often bad ones.
