I just noticed that the pearl in my ring is chipped! I don't know how I did it, but this pearl is extremely special to me, and if my fiance finds out it's damaged, he's going to be hurt. We picked it out of an oyester on our first long trip together, and had it mounted in a white gold setting...he's asked me to marry him with it about 48 times...I'm devastaed, is there ANY way to fix it?

Not really. Sorry.

But you could have it remounted in the same setting; turned over so you cant see the chip.

I think the first answer is your best bet, a jeweller may be able to reset the pearl to hide the damage. If that is not possible may you could have enclosed in a gold heart locket, so it's memory is always close to your heart. Ring sizes change over the years of our lives, but necklaces can be work constantly, and make better gifts to handed down to daughters....she might wear it as something borrowed at her wedding.... if you mention this when breaking the news to your fiance, it might soften the hurt.

Well, kid, I'm no expert on it, but I don't think so. Pearls are not stones, but naturally made objects from an animal. They are rather delicate and I doubt you can fix it. Replace it instead. Nothing lasts forever.
