Around here, most schools have some typical ferocious animal or Greek warrior of somekind. I don't remember where but I think I saw one school mascot was acorns. Hahaha.

Our school mascot, because we come from a shore community with shellfishing as the main industry, we were the Bainbridge Bearded Clams. Go bearded clams!

My high school had a lightning bolt (we were the Thunder) but it looked like a big "bolt" of cheese.

Mine was a buffalo. I always thought that was a stupid animal to represent us.
