4. Blow to the head that injured the occipital lobe.
5. Direct exposure to a huge flash point in an explosion
6. Vascular diseases that constrict the blood vessels to the eyes.
7. Diabetes that lead to glaucoma.
8. Corneal diseases.
9. Advanced age (which might just be #6, 7 or 8 in reality)
10. Overexposure to ultra violent light (looking directly at an eclipse without eye protection for example,)
11. Loss of eye (KILL BILL style!)
Oh, and there is the philosophical adage: There are none so blind as those who will not see.

3 blind.

4 any other reason- damage to the cornea, no eyes, retinal detachment.... these ll all fall under blind.

u can see when there is no light after ur eyes get adjusted to the dark.

u can percieve light even if ur eyes are closed.
