It's hardware but wouldn't you like to know why, just in case. Because hardware are physical things that can be attached to the computer. Software are programs you download on the computer.

I think you might have said "please," instead of demanding we give you this information. Anyway, the hardware would be the keyboard, mouse, tower, and monitor. Software is what is left on your list. AndyL, Mr. Nice and a few others are totally incorrect. Anything you put into your computer or printer to make it run is software and the computer and all components like that (iincluding printer) are hardware.

All of those you mentioned are considered hardware in computer lingo, except for CDs and diskettes. You don't actually refer to them as hardware but data storage devices.

The information stored on the disk is the software. That is the information or program that goes into your computer. The disk is hardware. So is everything in your list.

When you buy software at he store you purchase a Disk containing the software, but you are actually paying for the information on the disk.

Someone could argue that the floppies and CDs are software, but think of it - your computer harddrive HAS software on it, but it is not software. Neither are the floppies. Generically, everyone refers to the CDs and DVDs and floppies as software, but they aren't. They are as someone stated, STORAGE mediums only, and the actual software is deposited ON them.
You will be getting other WARE problems, so
beWare, there are
software,
firmware
greyware
hardware
and my favourite, vapourware, like IBM's speak and type that
was announced, putting Mcafee out of business way back in the 1980s that never became a product until now -- vapourware is a marketing ploy to increase the value of stock / prestige, etc. and to devalue a competitor...
Firmware is like a chip, with a burned in program on it ( BIOS )
GreyWare can be a living computer bunch of cells in bio-computer experiments
Hardware is something like a keyboard.
As chips become storage devices like USB sitcks, the defenition
is a bit uncertain, in day to day usage.
There will be more WARE categories as new technologies are introduced.

A desperate determination! lol btw: it won't be able to be the fortress's shadow. because of the fact one thousand adult males could desire to hold up a great mirror, and, utilising the sunlight, shine it at an perspective in direction of the fortress. Voila! The shadow strikes... right that's a extra useful riddle: what's enormous, no longer common, and packed with semen?
