It could mean that someone else in your neighborhood has the same code as your doorbell has. Read the manual and look at the contacts inside both bell and pushbutton. Change the contacts - jumpers in both to be the same code. That could solve your problem.

Yes. That is a very common form of haunting.

A deceased friend of a former resident does not realize that she is dead -- a very common occurrence. The deceased person who does not realize that she is dead -- in other words, the ghost -- is trying to go on with her normal life, including shopping, visiting, all that.

The ghost's name is Sherrell.

You need to help Sherrell realize that she is deceased. You do that by praying for her and going to mass (if you are Catholic or Orthodox).

Also, next time the doorbell rings, go to the door, open it and say: "Hello, Sherrell. I'm sorry to have to tell you this but you are deceased and it's time for you to go on to the light. God is waiting to welcome you home."

Be kind. Imagine how you would feel in her situation. Good luck!

No.....it is an electrical problem or neighbors playing a prank on you. If you really feel so inclined to find out buy a cheap security cam (motion activated) and you will know for sure. If it is a ghost, I'd move stat!
