I think he'll be at least as good as he was last year, but getting better is contingent on him getting some help from other places on the Capitals roster to take the defensive heat off of him. I don't see that happening with this team.

Alexander Semin is a nice re-addition, but GM George McPhee has some work to do to build around #8.

Sure, he definitely can get even better, and he probably will be even better this season. But it's more the fine points of the game he's going to improve on I think - when to really play the body at critical times in a game or the season, how better to use whatever linemates he's with, being better two-way, for example.

He can be better and he will be better I think. Seems like he's not yet satisfied with the level he's at now.

Ovechkin will be even better with his first year in the league under his belt. He now knows the style of play even better and will be absolutley better this season.

Yes, I don't think he is just a 'flash in the pan'. He is very talented. It makes you wonder just what he could accomplish if he were on a better team. He has it all, speed, skill knowledge of the game.

I say he will post about the same amount of points as he did last year. Capitals havent gotten him much help so its hard for him to do so much more, without risking injury.

He's going to improve. He has one year of experience now so he should play a better, more mature game.

I think he can and will do considerably better. Sidney Crosby will do the best though. I can just feel it.
