I have noticed majority of Cape Verdeans I have came across look half black half white (mulatto). But when i meet their parents, their parents look mulatto also. They have usually have curly hair and caramel/mocha skin. They look like creoles or biracials. are cape verdeans mixed?

Of course, Cape Verde was a European land of slavery as the West Indies, La Réunion, Mauritius and the USA. It was a place where Portuguese and African slaves got mixed over centuries, plus it's position on the coast of the African continent has made a place where people from all origins passed by or settled.
