already made. We have a website up and running with e-commerce already in place. The big problem is that I/we have no idea how to advertise. The games are all on the website and can be downloaded after purchase. I have been programming these games for several months and am getting discouraged because I don't see any return on my work. Please help me by letting me know how I should advertise and get the word out about these games and our website. I am at a total loss. After figuring out the typo in your posting, I was able to visit your site. I do hope you did not pay for this site design as it really does not put your games right in the visitors face. It is more like the sites that try to get you to be affiliates for them. (of course that is not so bad if you want to leverage your efforts by creating affiliates to sell your games.. it is more time consuming in that you have to manage them and then pay your affiliates.)
I would re-design the site and have the games be the predominant item you see when the page opens. You can have the about the company and what customers say in a margin to one side or the other.
You are not getting the traffic you need to this site for it to be successful (which I am sure you have noticed.)
As I write this response I am running a ranking test of your page, and in the few search engines your site does not come up in the top 195 of any of them.. and some do not seem to know you exist. (how long has your site been up? How many search engines did you submit to?)The test I am running will take some time, as I am checking all search engines that use English language.
Do you have a mailing list? (email list?) I am guessing you don't have, or not a very big one. On your lead in page having a way to collect at least an email addy will start giving you a list to advertise to. (usually you can give something away that will get them to put in an email addy.) Or you can have a drawing to win one game for free.. but you need a list.
You need better ranking in the search engines.. I have yet to find you at all in any of them with any of your key words.
There are a few ways for you to proceed with what you have (in other words not re-designing your site) but most of the ones I can think of you will have to pay for the promotions. (like signing up with someone who guarentees you will get so many unique visitors in a given amount of time.) Paying to be higher in the search engines by bidding on key words.
Another thing that raises your ranking in the search engines is having other sites that link to yours and sites with content that you link to in yours. (my own sites are not relavent to you or I would suggest a link swap.)
Are you interested in redesigning your site? or having it done? As it happens, I have designed several sites(I will list them at the bottom here for you to have a look at.. some are still in construction but it will give you the idea of what I am talking about) I also have a link to the best and cheapest software for producing your own web graphics (I do like your animated gifs of the rotating blocks by the way) I also take on a limited number of site design projects if you do not want to tackle that yourself.
Do you have a blog? an RSS feed with content about kids and new games? All these things can help you with your ranking.. right now.. hardly anyone is finding your site so your first step is to either pay to improve your ranking, or find ways to cause your site to rise in the rankings on its own.
I want you to know I am not trying to be harsh here, or discourage you. I am trying to give you some feedback on why your returns are not what you need/want/expect.
here are a few tips on optimization (I ran a key word density analysis as well as ranking and none of your key words appear in your title, most of your key words do not appear in your content those that do are less than 5%)
Use your most important keywords at the beginning of the title, meta tags, link texts and body text.
Avoid using filter words to increase the effectiveness of your keywords.
Make sure that your web pages have the right keyword density and don't contain stop words.
The right keyword mix on your web pages will help you to improve your ranking on all important search engines.

he could become a game tester (if some employer will pay for that). Because that hones his visual skills maybe he could become a car racer. Maybe he could teach people to drive thru an obstacle course. Maybe he could become a well known golfer and earn money by traveling from one game to the next. He could be a pianist if he would study. He could certainly do things in connection with the computer either in his own business or working for someone. Actually he could get any job that requires good eye and hand coordination and mental agility anything that challenges the mind, like anything where he has to figure out something. Why not send him to school and let him choose what he likes. He's addicted to solving problems at high speed, he likes the thrill, the excitement. Remember though that the hand motion from the "games" can give his hand carpal tunnel disease over time and he will become disabled and won't be able to use his hand for more delicate work so get him off the games as soon as possible.

Hello buddy, i check-out your site, it doesnt exist or maybe its just down, anyways, for this type of biz advertising is vital to inform the consumers about your service and product. There is no other way for consumers to know tht your site even exists.
As a business man, dealing in various division from Automobiles to Fashion department stores, from Manufacturing to raw material extraction, all my business need advertisements, without tht my organization would be in the twilight zone in the eyes of the consumers.
First, inform the people around your STATE, i recom you to advertise with the newspaper, make it short and informative be sure your web address is shown big and with dark colors. Once you have done the local advertisement, here you will have some money coming in but not as much as you expect, now you have to contact various web such as yahoo, google and alta vista for online advertisements. Y online? well the people who are already online are the people who are most likely to use your service and product, these people will directly checkout your website.
Also make some flyers and also card names. Flyers should be distributed in your market segmented area, example; if games are made for teens to adult then whts a better place than university? there are thousands of students, you'll get a sure hit. Paste flyers outside blockbuster video stores, 7'eleven, mini markets, petrol pumps, supermarkets.
Card names should be distributed at computer stores, networking gaming centres, mail box at apartments and to friends and families.
My way may look expensive, but thts biz mate. To get money you have to lose money, its a type of tactic tht will draw money in huge amounts. If you expect your site to make profit you have to use these tactics or not you'll lose everything. I must agree maybe you'll face some difficulities in the first 1 or 2 months, but using tactics people will be informed and they will surely come. If you offer interesting products and services at decent price you'll surely score.

Check with the Small Business Association in your area........They are there to help people start up businesses by guiding them in the right way................They will know what to tell you to do..............I believe this is free, or a small fee
I know you have started it, but they will know about the advertising world also...Good luck.........
