Hi Serena, It sounds like your hairs are ingrown. That was happening to my husband's neck and we just found a product from a company called Arbonne. It is their NutriMenC Shaving Lotion and since he has been using it no more bumps or itching to death. You can check it out in their online catalog at http://www.wonderful.myarbonne.com Also, if you sign my guestbook I would like to send you a sample of our ABC Baby products since you are having a little one. Congrats on your new family member. Terri T.

Try using the Aveeno products line. They have a great moisturizing shave gel and they have quite a few anti-itch or itch relief lotions, creams and sprays. My girlfriend has a problem with constantly itchy legs. She sometimes gives in to the itch and scratches and creates little spots that occasionally bleed. Then as they heal they're even more itchy. If you get this too try combining one part water with one part peroxide and put it in a spray bottle and spray on your legs once a day and let dry.
You didn't indicate what, if any, products you were using to help with the itch. The Aveeno products are certainly more expensive than others, but well worth it.
If all else fails and no products or methods work, see a dermatologist...maybe you need a prescription medication.

Well for one always use a cream/shaving cream once shaving, that will reduce the dryness/itchyness that you are experiencing as well as the bumps.
Look to make sure what ingredients are inside of these creams that you are using, you may be allergic, also make sure that you are using a good shaver and that you don't use it for too long, the razer will get dull and thus create skin problems.
Also I strongly reccomend you purcase this cream called "Eurecin" you can purchase it at any Walmart of general store , it is rated best amongst doctors to stop the itching.
AND ! DO NOT SCRATCH! IT MAKES THINGS WORSE!

Try using a lotion that doesn't contain alcohol...my daughter has the same problem and likes Aveeno with menthol (it has oatmeal and the menthol helps sooth and stop the itch). Make sure your razor is real sharp and try shaving with hair conditioner like Suave...cheap and effectivee. Avoid shaving over the same spot (that's were the good razor helps) more than once. Tight pants also make it worse by making the hair rub against your skin. Good luck!

You should always use shaving lotion, it DOES make a difference. But if I were you I would get over the pain and start waxing. Find someone good and it shouldn't hurt so much. It also sounds to me like you have very dry legs. Exfoliate, even with a puff, every day in the shower and put a good cream on after. Put cream on before bed too. You should see a big difference, it should even soften your hair abit.

OMG I have the same prob I have to use sensitive lotion soap and shavers (if I shave) also exfoliate really well with a loofa which gets of dead skin cells and allows the hair and pores to breath it really helps alot also a bit of sun rays is good but not too much and dont use moisteriser with mineral oil that clogs the pores and makes it worse

Maybe try using lotion on them after shaving. Dry legs tend to be itchy. Just a thought. Hope it helps.

Lots of lotion, OR...(shameless plug) try the Intuition razors. They might help, as they have a moisterizer built into the lather bar.
