If i were you i would try to invert my sleep times so you you go to sleep around 4 to 5 and wake up when your body's done sleeping. I haven't had to wake up to an alarm for weeks, and i feel rested. The only trouble is that i'm drifting away from my group of friends when i do this...
outside of that, you could try drinking a weak caffine drink for most of the day, until about four hours before you bed time. At that time, stop drinking it and start turning down lights and tone down the electricity in the air. Books are a good way to avoid loud sounds. Low lighting tells your body that its time for bed, also, less activity is good for some people, others work out before bed because they find themselves too jumpy.

One should observe strict timings for the sleep so that things like not getting sleep when u r supposed to sleep and sleeping when u r supposed to be awake will not happen. This is all because of the disturbance to the biological clock. Our body will not get adjusted to our demands of work resulting in keeping awake and not sleeping at the regular time. Our sleep pattern needs to have perfect discipline.Ur aim should be to maintain the sleep timings so that the pattern do not get upset and cause problems to u.

try not to take any naps because then you won't get any sleep at night. I know it's hard but just don't take a nap. Also go to bed early so you can catch up on some Zzzz.

Go back to bed. Got any earplugs? They help me stay asleep. (hard to hear the alarm clock, though)
