I apparantly have a mental disorder where I cannot focus on one thing in my mind unless im extremely, EXTREMELY relaxed. It is definitely NOT ADD. ADD is where you cannot control what you are looking at or thinking of at any given moment.

What is up with me is that my mind is constantly going in at least three directions at once, even when I am asleep.

Like this one time, I had a dream that included me freezing time WHILE I went into the Matrix WHILE climbing backwards up the empire state building! Then later that day in school, I was listening to the teacher and perfectly replaying everything in my head from the dream and thinking of the song I heard on the radio that morning AND also thinking of the movie I saw a week earlier all at the same time and I could focus on all four things at the same time.

I would give more examples but I am almost out of "characters to work with" So, can you please just tell me if that makes me weird of not?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand I'm out of characters.

No this doesn't make you weird, my mind is constantly thinking about many things at the same time. It goes so fast sometimes that i can't keep up. I must at times meditate to slow things down. I have met many people with the same brain workings, I guess it depends on the way one uses their brain and how open one is to learning, experiencing and not being afraid of anything. Let the wheels keep on turning!!

That's not weird it is actually incredibly normal. You're just more aware of the thoughts going on in your head and focussing on them.

The conscious mind is thinking about 7 things at once and the unconscious mind is thinking thousands if not millions at the exact same time.
So don't worry about it. If you are stressed there will be more thoughts or it will be harder to ignore them.
You just need to relax in general. Not relax at a given time in order to focus on a certain task, although that will help.

Also, your explanation of ADHD is wrong. There is more than one kind, and one kind is that you can't focus on something- your mind starts to wander. Which is exactly what you described. Although it is highly unlikely you have ADHA. You just have one of the symptoms.

These days everyone is looking for excuses for their, or other's behaviour. Suggesting every second person has a serious mental disorder.
All you need to do is calm down a bit and try to concentrate.

your not wierd but your def of ADD is pretty wrong. If you can't focus, it appears to be an attention problem. Your head is going a hundred miles an hour? even when you sleep? that is pretty much hyperactivity. I'm going through the same thing. I'm diagnosed with severe depression/anxiety whose symptoms often overlap, masking or associating other disorder--the ADD side can't be approached until the depression is weeded out as the culprit. But that's me. You can have some type of ADD/ADHD related or something.I don't know you, personally, so seeking psych counsel with a mental health care professional--if this is an actual nuisance to you or want your sleep back or to end the frustraion of poor concentration--would be my advice. you're not wierd, you're speh-shil ;D hope I helped

If you are telling the truth, you should know that it does not make you weird of. It will, only when you can not focus on the things that you are doing at the same time.
