We've been friends since we were 10. I'm a ceremonial magickian or witch. He recently told me that he couldn't be friends with me anymore because of my beliefs. Keep in mind, that when in high school and I was a Christian he told me that he was learning witchcraft and was GAY and I accepted him for what he was. So what do I do?

I should add that he said it didn't matter if I was a Christian or not, just that I need to go to his church. Also its been a couple months since this happened.

You don't need a friend like that. Friends don't try to change friends, they except them for who they are. Thats what makes friends so special.

True friends would not abandon you like that! I don't know what your relationship is like with him but maybe talking to him and saying what you wrote here may help. I know if I have a friend like that I would probably not want to stay friends. Friends support each other through thick and thin.

First go back to your bible. Any answer you will ever need is in there - drop the witchcraft thing - it's trendy & rediculous - you know that! There might be more to your friend's snubbing you than you know - maybe he's afraid you'll turn him into a frog or something...ha. as a Christian he is protecting his faith.
i don't think he should stop the friendship because you have different beliefs. sometimes it is hard being friends when religion is important to someone personally and not to the other or the other has different beliefs.
