As a Canadian (also from Winnipeg) I guess on one hand I'm proud that Lukas won, (Woo hoo! TWO Canadian Rockstars in a row!!) but I can't stand the guy's look, his lurching around the stage turning his back on the audience, and (as a singer) how he abuses his voice. He's a terrible performer, but maybe he'll improve with a LOT of guidance from these guys.
If Dilana had won I'd have maybe been a little interested to see what they put out, but with Lukas I really don't care in the least.
Either way though I think they made a COLOSSAL mistake and should have picked Toby. I thought he was the best total package right from the first time he opened his mouth on the first episode, but hey I guess he can go on to bigger and better things now without them. Evs.

Very happy that Lukas won. Only once was he in the bottom three and he was always giving everything he had on every show. Dilana is good but she bagged on the guys and had a melt down when dealing with pressure of the aftermath of it. Supernova saw that. Canada wins Rockstar..... again.

I am happy that they picked Lukas to win, but I was disappointed that Toby didn't win because he had an awesome voice. Lukas fits the rockstar attitude and he looks great with Supernova. Congratulations to him he put out his hardest and won. The other two were great and they made it to the top four, so they all accomplished a lot.

I think Supernova's way of picking out the winner is not the right way to go about it. By choosing total votes globally, you are ignoring actual talent and best suit for the group. Last year's winner JD Fortune is from Toronto, Canada, MAYBE Canadians get more involved and vote for their countrymen than the rest of the world. There are too many shows in the US for Americans to want to vote for this show.
Supernova is a hard rock band, and the people who usually are bothered to vote are females. Not to say women don't rock, but successful hard rock bands like Metallica, GNR and Motley Crue were always male-driven.
I personally thought Dilana should've won it, but I'm glad she didn't. Look at the prize she got, Dave and Gilby are going to produce her album. I think Lukas was a bit shocked when they said that too. Dilana doesn't need to work out "differences" with the band members (who are all strong personalities), and she get to be a solo artist.
Lukas is alright, but I thought he's not as committed as Dilana,and he doesn't seem to front the band. Those three vet rockers tend to take the spotlight away from him.
PS: look at all the answers given. Those who said Lukas should've won are all females.

Totally yes. I could not listen to Dilana's raspy voice for an entire CD. Toby would have been my second choice, (eye candy).
By the Way I am form Vancouver!!! Two Canadians have won in a row. Canada Rocks!

Lucas is a bit creepy. His vocals and movements are different, and that was mistaken for talent. Dilana had a way better stage presence than him. Her smokey voice was a bit boring though. And after she had her little temper tantrum, threw the glass, and cut Magnis head, I thought she was just immature after that. Toby had good vocals, and good stage presence. Magni was always great at whatever he sung, but not a lot going on in the stage presence department.

No, Toby should have won. Lukas' voice won't last a month on tour.

YES, but Toby kicked butt when he sang white wedding. Delina or whatever deserved to loose, she was ugly and had a horrible voice, no offense delina lovers, but she did get a record deal, so she should be happy enough!

I wanted Toby to win! I was pretty upset. Lucas just doesn't seem to fit. He is very punk and the band is more rock. Oh well...
