I've heard many comments about this topic including things like global warming, sun burning up, and such and such. But I want to know more details, because I want to know what my kids and their kids have to go through.
Now I'm going to go a "wee" bit off topic.
A long time ago, we didn't have electricity.
We had to light up candles to be able to see.
Now we have just a flick of a button then BAM the light goes on.
And even motion sensers!!!
What about in the next 100 years?
Aren't we gooing ot be fat, because if we want something we just snap our finger and next thing we know is that we have a fliet mignon dinenr in front of us???
We may never know...
but it sure its interesting.

100 years from now, the people are going to look back and think we had rough lives. Crazy dangerous things like power lines and primitive forms of communication like telephones.

No. All throughout history people have been saying the world is going to hell. It's bullshit. Advanced technology won't ruin the world, global warming is a myth (ask any real scientist, there is no proof that the world is any hotter than it has been in the past millenia). Advancements in technology don't mean that people will become lazy and fat. The only things that will make people lazy and fat are decadence and sloth, two things that have been around for centuries.

No, I'm looking forward to a bright future. I'd like to think that most of humanity has atleast half a brain.

Surely if technology advances at the rate it is then being fat won't be a problem. There will be genetic defenses against fat cells. But as far as the earth goes....we may **** it up and kill ourselves before we're able to escape.
