is it true that moth balls can also help repel roaches?

Doubtful--as big a problem as roaches are if mothballs were effective it would have put thousands of exterminators in the southern US out of business.

The only thing I've ever heard that moth balls are effective on (besides moths) are snakes. Lots of people try them out on just about every creature on God's green earth. Most ignore them or are delayed temporarily while they carry or push them to another area. I have actually seen snakes go away for good--maybe because they can't carry them away. Whatever the reason, they leave.

No, Mothballs will no repel roaches.

Mothballs do work well at getting rid of snakes, mice, rats, and believe it or not, flea's.

As others have suggested boric acid is better at getting rid of roaches. Boric acid kills the roaches by sticking on them, and suffocating them. It doesn't work great, but I haven't yet to find anything that is 100% at killing roaches. I guess that is why they are the only creature that can withstand a nuclear explosion in tact.

Good luck on getting rid of the roaches.

Moth balls are much too small to repel anything. You need a damn microscope to even see 'em.

Moth balls are chemically related to benzene and should only be used as instructed.

No, but use some powdered boric acid. You can get this at Walmart. Just sprinkle it anywhere you see roaches. Roach bombs work better though.

It's worth a try..mothballs will keep cats away..sometime. . Boric Acid will get rid of roaches if your mothballs don't.
