Meaning of the US Flag
Blue: The sky overhead or Heaven
White: Purity of spirit and heart
Red: The blood of those which was sacrificed for freedom
The 13 Red and White stripes stand for the original 13 colonies.
The 50 individual stars represent the 48 lower contiguous states as well as Alaska and Hawaii.
The shape of the star was chosen to represent the bombs and ammunition spent for our freedom.
