My boyfriend says a moth is, I say maggot.

ask yourself this if you were on fear factor and you had to choose between the two which would it be?as for me i wouldnt go for the maggot

Neither one is gross; a moth is put on this earth for a certain purpose and a maggot is put on this earth for a certain purpose. You may think a maggot is gross, but think of it this way; if you hit, say, a raccoon, on the road, it would lay there forever, never decompose, just dry up like a mummy. But maggots eat the decaying flesh and take away things that have died. That is why doctors are now growing maggots in labs to use on patients that have severe infections or when gangrene has set in. They put the maggots into the open wound, wrap a bandage around it and remove the bandage a week to ten days later. The bad infection is gone; then the doctor removes the maggots and disposes of them. So they are really good.

Absolutely a maggot! I have seen a few "pretty" colored moths. Never have I seen a maggot that is appealing what so ever!
