i'm trying to buy a present for my boyfriends birthday and am looking for suggestions... he is a musician with an electric guitar, and he also sings. the only problem is... i am completely oblivious to the music world. i was wondering if any of you out there had any suggestions as to what he would like... also, it doesn't have to be about guitars i guess, it could be anything you recommend if you have the same personality, etc... thanks! :)

M-Audio Black Box. Get him writing and recording, which is the best way to learn. Hopefully he has a computer he can record to... if not, you could lend him yours!

Roland Phantom Workstation would be nice. A GT3 would be nice. A mackie 64 channel mixer with built in 200 terabyte HD would be nice. A pair of 18' Yamaha stage speakers, but I would want the most a nice pair of studio monitors about 1 ft cubed. Thank you and I was a good boy this year Santa.
