I turned on my laptop one day and could not sign on because I could not type in my password. Any help?

borrow someone's USB keyboard boot with it connect and see if XP recognizes it and attempt to logon that way. Once in windows see if you can troubleshoot your problem that way.

First of all .. the time for a new one comment is really wrong . Just because you can't type doesn't mean you need to buy a new comp .

Make sure your pointer is clicked where you type your password in .

Then if that doesn't work what you can do is call the support phone number of your computer for help or bring it into a computer repair place. They can get get it going for you .
