....a White guy in a business suit who's driving. Does anyone else get sick of seeing that? Shouldn't they have other minorities driving sometimes (like women, or both sexes of other races)??

The advertisers are advertising to the type of person they think "goes" with their car,in other words, that might be interested in buying it.
Imagine seeing the same white guy in a pimped out Honda civic... ain't gonna happen.

OH MY GOD!!!! why does it matter, do you really think that race is the first thing on the car companies' mind hiring someone

and by saying we should hire "other minorities driving sometimes (like women, or both sexes of other races)" over "a White guy in a business suit," thats a form of reverse racism in hiring, what if the "White guy in a business suit" is the best for the job and the most qualified...

if a minority is BEST suited for the job hire him/her...
if a white person is BEST suited for the job hire him/her...

sounds fair to me....

Well most of the companies use there employees to do the spots. So you can't really blame them. There isn't too much money in it for a black guy in the car business depending on the area.

I assume they're selling to those who can afford the product.
Apparently the white-collar, white male has the highest income bracket. Go figure.
