2. (7(x+9))/7=63 Divide both sides by 7
3. x+9=9 Subtract 9 from both sides
Which leaves the answer...

7/3(x) + 7/3(9) = 21
7/3(x) + 7(3) =21
7/3(x) +21 =21
7/3(x) = 21 -21
7/3(x) = 0
x=0 (7/3)
