My ex-husbands new (now ex) partner told my eldest daughters some horrible things about me and my past, one of which was actually true, but not her business to tell my children.
Some of what she said, my children already knew the truth but they still questioned it. This has hurt me very deeply and makes me feel like a liar to my children, even though I've told the truth.
This woman does not know me and got her lies from my "parents". As she said it to both my children can i sue her for slander?

If any of what was said is both false and defamatory, made with the requisite amount of malice, it is technically slander. Whether that is something worth a lawsuit is a far more complicated question, and is partly dependent upon the law in your state.

Since some of the things are true.. you can't sue her for slander. On the things that are not true you can sue her for slander, and possibly defamation of character. Check into defamation of character, and slander.

REMEMBER: only on the lies she told

Slander is telling lies publicly about someone only to be malicious. So, I would have to say no. Especially since it is a domestic affair.

I do not believe so. If it upsets you this much maybe talk to someone who can offer professional help.
