No way! My fondest child hood memories are from there....I can remember being 5 on the judge roy scream and slipping out of my seat belt to wrap my arms around my aunts legs.....not a good idea!

Keeping a park open takes more than the thought that "they make to [sic] much money everyday [sic]." The company is putting itself up for auction and either selling the land that six of its parks are on, or clearing the land to sell. It has less to do with how much money they make and more to do with angry stockholders and financial problems. Despite what you think about the cost of its ticket prices, imagine what kind of mayhem the company has to go through when someone sues them (for an injury that was their fault, nonetheless), or when their stocks plunge. If someone buys the parks, it'll be their land, so they can rip them down to build houses or keep them operating. Guess you have to stay tuned...

The one in Houston shut down a couple of years ago. It's a shame.

They bought our local park and complain it loses money. I think it is a corporate ploy by the guy who took it over. They also built a hotel with an indoor water park. They charge $160 per night for a suite.

No Way, Jose! They have too many things going all across the US. Texas, Missouri, Washington state, yeh, they're all over the place. They won't shut down, no way!

Six flags is selling(or has for sale) six stores that are underproducers. don't remember all(it's been a while since I read it) but: Houston, Majic Mountain in California and 4 others.

the six flags geauga lake in cleveland was sold last year and became just geauga lake as it was before, six flags aint got **** on cedar point
