I know a lot of people will talk about wars or big events, but I think of the legendary romances, like Eloise and Abelard. These timeless stories of an almost mythic level of love between a man and a woman is the stuff of art, music, poetry. It is our human race at its best, loving with a passion that is far more enduring than any kingdom or empire.
