it doesn't feel like ten years. he died and the mystery still remains. his killers have not been found and go unpunished. he was gunned down in the prime of his life. but he left behind a legacy and that gives his life meaning.

Does anyone ever think about the fact that he used to be a bright eyed, fun-loving member of the Digital Underground? No. But he was. The guy was a poser and he died because of his own stupidity. I'm sorry he died so young because it's tragic to die at 25, but he's no martyr.
(and whoever said he's not dead is wrong, I've seen the autopsy photos.)

I think he's overrated. Same is true for BIG. Both were above-average lyricists who achieved commercial success, but neither were in the same league lyrically as Rakim, KRS-One or Nas.
