I think because he and his family are very wealthy and also he is a born again Christian. He has also said that god has personally spoken to him therefore he favors those who are similar in his beliefs and wealth! By looking out for the rich and Christian Extremists he is actually looking out for himself!

Obviously, you've been moveon.org and listening to Air America Radio too much. Stay away from both, they'll make you think that GW Bush is a puppet for the religious right and the rich.

He said it him self on one of those" I thought the mic was off" incidents something like "i consider them my biggest asset" while speaking to a colleague about weather being aligned with the rich was good or bad for his campaign . that's at least 3 times he has had an " I thought the mic was of " incident

yes, all republicans GENERALLY are.
clinton was a puppet for the insurance industry.
both sides are run by special interest groups. but the rich always, ALWAYS win regardless.
