Look, it's not that hard:
8.24
x 0.7
-----
4 times 7 equals 28, so write eight and carry the 2
2 times 7 equals 14, plus 2 equals 16, so write 6 and carry the 1
8 times 7 equals 56, plus one equals 57, so write seven and carry the 5
you're out of numbers so write the 5...
5768 then:
do the multiplication first, then count the number of digits you have behind the decimal from both numbers (not including zeros that are at the end) in this case it would be 3, so the answer would be 5.768.
7 tenths= 0.7
24 hundredths= 0.24
8 and 24 hundredths= 8.24
5.768= 5 and 768 thousandths.
if it goes 4 numbers past the decimal, it owuld be ten thousandths, and so on.
Try it.

You would change the mixed number into an improper fraction and then just multiply across.
8 24/100 * 7/10 =
824/100 * 7/10 =
5768/1000=
5.768

i've got confidence there's a greater physically powerful ability. once you awaken in the morning and say "I exist" you're additionally saying "i'm". isn't this what "GOD" stated as Himself time and time lower back? Exodus 3:14. whilst this by myself does not tutor the existence of God to lots of human beings, it quite makes me think of that we are particular creatures of God; made in His own photograph to rule over all different creatures of this planet. think of roughly this: do no longer all of us have confidence that if we gained't see it, it does not exist? beforehand microscopes, did germs and microbes exist? Even in the present day, we gained't quite "see" an electron, neutron, or proton. have you ever seen a photograph of an Atom? will we dare question that they exist? yet we do question God's existence each and all of the time saying: "Nah, we are all right here by way of twist of fate... ya see, sooner or later, in the middle of a non-cutting-edge universe, there have been some tiny unknown aspects that created a tremendous explosion. From that source (the scale of a pinhead) got here billions of huge stars, planets, and coincidentally, smart existence. And right here we are... Now which argument seems greater a approaches-fetched?

Simply convert the words to numbers. All the "fractional" values are tenths and hundredths, so they can be written directly as decimals. Multiply the two numbers as you would without the decimals. When you obtain an answer, count up all the decimal places in the two multipliers and put that many decimal places in the answer.

I know this is the long way, but turn them into decimals and then multiply.
ex. multiply sixty-four by eight tenths
64 x 8/10
64 x .08 = 5.12

Image the following letters as numbers
abc.def
a=hundred
b=tens
c=ones
.="and"
d=tenth
e=hundredth
f=thousandth
1) 8.24 x 0.7 = 5.768
2) 7.73 x 6.8 = 52.564
3) 64 x 0.8 = 51.2
4) 43.9 x 8.8 = 386.32
5) 25.7 x 3.4 = 87.38
6) 5.85 x 0.9 = 5.265
7) 64.9 x 9.1 = 590.59
8) 8.09 x 5.9 = 47.731
Just try writing the numbers out.

Use a calculator, and enter the numbers in decimal form. Don't even bother with the fractions. SO, with your calculator, input the following:
8.24 x .7
7.73 x 6.8
64 x .8
43.9 x 8.8
25.7 x 3.4
5.85 x .9
64.9 x 9.1
8.09 x 5.9
I think you can find the answers now.

Einstein failed math. So just convert them into decimal notation and you should find them easier.
Like so: 7.73 X 6.8
64 x 0.8
