I am having a slumby party with 6 girl friends this weekend, while our parents are away. My 16 year old brother was meant to be going with them, but now he's not. He wants to stay at home, but we were thinking of an all girls slumber party. On what conditions would you let him stay? Should he stay out of our way, or should he have to take part. Should we do his hair and nails like any other girl etc? What she he wear?

Make him stay away! It's potentially harmful to the girls. if they find a guy threatening, then he can be in some trouble.

Just casually suggest that he sleep over at a friends house.

good luck and have so much fun at your slumber party!

First of all, how old are you and your friends? I don't think it's a good idea to have a 16 year old boy with raging hormones in the presence of 6 teen-aged girls overnight, without parental supervision under ANY circumstances. You are asking for trouble. Do I need to draw you a picture of what COULD happen? Be responsible and respectful of yourself and your girlfriends. Cancel your slumber party and re-schedule it for another time, when there are adults present.

You could suggest that he goes and stays with a friend for the night, so as to be out of the way. YOu don't give your ages only your brothers. Maybe if you are younger than him your parents have left him home on purpose to keep an eye out for things and make sure you girls don't get into any trouble. I don't think too many 16 year old boys would allow you to dress them up and that would depend on your brother as to whether he wanted this. Remember your brother is not a toy. I hope if you are younger than 16 that your parents have laid down ground rules. Enjoy your party.

Talk to your parents. Surely, they do not approve of a boy/girl slumber party. They should take the brother with them.

Your brother might be fun to have around for a little while, but you should definitely have a "girl time only" where you can catch up and gossip. Your brother might serve as a distraction to your friends, and their parents might not allow their daughters to stay if your brother is present, depending on how strict they are. I think that it all depends on how he's willing to cooperate, and what your guests think of him being there.

No wonder he wanted to stay home LOL! Its up to you and your girlfriends, but it would be hilarious to initiate him into womanhood! Dress the boy up and turn him into one of the girls and take pics, you never know when you might need them! And make a name for him and he has to be that girl all night, hehe.

Just make it so you have your space, and he has his. Something like..."stay out of our way, and we'll share the pizza" or something.
