I would recommend saving about $100 or $200 more and you can double the processor and triple the harddrive, also the memory would be around a gig or so...

I'm assuming it's a laptop.

I notice that you didn't mention a wireless LAN, which is almost essential these days for laptops. If you're going to buy it, I'd also recommand buying a wireless USB adapter to connect wireless.

It's a really nice computer otherwise with a good processor, good memory, and ATI graphics. The hard drive is really small though, and the PS/2 and Parallel ports are a bit useless now in this time of age.

i beg 2 differ with the others
no way am i gonna spend that money on it ..

the processor is a desktop processor not a mobile processor !
hence u'r ram is inferior type too

rest of specs r good

try sticking 2 a mobile processor, less heat generation !
will check & post a lil later

this is a great computer for that price 40 gb is enough but you could change it if you want to. the ram is great the grafics and sound are nice and the usb is is good. the only thing you might want to add is a dvd burner

Sounds like your standard computer. With firewire?? These days?? You're not likely to use fire wire. I'd check with your local comp store. $600 sounds excessive. Don't be duped by a list of specs.

only if it's a laptop. For a desktop PC it is overpriced.

If it's a laptop, it's an okay price.
