Successful tubal ligation (aka tubes tied) has a 0.5% chance of getting pregnant after the procedure. Usually, unsuccessful or regrown tubal ligations had the fallopain tubes cut and burned but left hanging so the tubes grew back together. To prevent this, most burning tubals also have a portion of the tube removed as well as tying the ends, to prevent regrowth. It's always possible. My aunt had her tubal 7 years ago and she has a 5 year old son.

Yup, I had my Tubal Ligation at the Mighty Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston Ma. I had all the bells and whistles.
13 years later I found myself pregnant with a tubal in my case right on the ovary, pregnancy. It was major surgery to remove what should have been my baby. I was laid up for 6 weeks of recovery, and on occasions I still think about the lost child,I would have loved at that later age and financial stability to have had to keep. I only had my tubes tied because of unbelievable poverty, in the years after my fortune changed. I am pretty sure it was a little girl!

It will be 10k to get a cheap reversal, just so you know.
YES, you can become pregnant, as the others have said. It happened to my mother about five years after her tubes were tied. It was not a cauterized type of tubal though, where they cut and burn.
I had a cut and burn done last year after my fourth pregnancy.... I'm apparently quite fertile, LOL. It's worked so far, when nothing else had.

Yes, my friend just had fraternal twins. Her tubes were tied 3 years ago and here not only 1, but 2 eggs got through. This is very rare though.

Yes, you may still become pregnant. I know a woman who after three children had her tubes tied and still became pregnant years later with a fourth child. She probably had the procedure in the early to mid '90's, so perhaps if your procedure was more recent, the technology may be more effective these days.

Ive heard one in a thousand chance natural... I had my tubes done in May. I do think that if you are meant to get pregnant that even the tubes being tied wont stop it!

I have had mine tied for two years and nothing has happened. I am guessing it will depend on how the tubes were tied and how good of a job the doc does.

When you can't get pregnant, and things look good from the outside, it can be extremely frustrating.
The first thing to consider is how long have you been trying. About 80% of couples will get pregnant after six months of trying, and about 90% will be pregnant after 12 months of trying to get pregnant. Anyway this is a great methid to get pregnant fast https://tr.im/fd75a
