Let me know what you think...

I need some time away from my memories
To gain the strength to pull through this tragedy
How have I come this far, and never known
I swallow these pills as another means of remedy

I can already see that tomorrow is a waste
I live my life on the road, not at the same pace
Of everyone else, I’ve grown so envious
Why do I continue living this destructive way

As I look back, I realize my dream was a mistake
I’ve fought for years to gain my own place
A spot in the sun that shines only for me
All that’s left is to leave without a single trace

Trying to gain control of this pure chaos
I seem to find myself alone and lost
What can I do to fix this catastrophe
This is my life, and I accept that this is how it has to be

Very moving. Deep. Troubling. Insightful. Makes you think what most are actually afraid to admit they feel. Expresses a lot of my emotion. Thank You for sharing.
Looked up your profile was surprised to find you are so young. You have a way of touching on old souls.

Yes, haven't we all had similar thoughts? The bright side is that you will come out of this depression a better person for having looked deep within yourself. Men usually don't enjoy looking within. And when we do, we seldom enjoy what we discover. You have the personal power to make improvements to yourself and your life. Whatever these memories are can be used as a tool for self improvement. Not always knowing what you want in life is sometimes scary. A lot of people repress these feelings instead of getting them out in the open and taking a good look at what 'this' is. Control is a learned experience. And it is hardly ever consistent, especially in youth. Life has many positive experiences waiting for you to uncover. Believe again in yourself.
For you, the end is not in sight. And that can be a very good thing for you have "miles to go before you sleep."
Robert Frost

Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

It is a great poem. It diffently comes from your heart. You are very sad and troubled. You need a good friend that you can trust not to a bottle of pills. I think you are very strong and brave to put this on here to let the hole world to read when you are this depressed. That takes alot of guts. I have been there when I was young. Find someone you trust and can count on so you can talk through what your going through if not a friend a therapist. Good luck to you and I hope you find what you are looking for. Have faith and hope.

People are given choices to change and start over, but do what you believe in. May be hard for other people to see things the way you do but never be afraid just because you are different from them. Hope that helps you in a way.

Swallowing pills is not accepting your life - it's escaping your life. It sounds like you're depressed - maybe you should talk to a therapist.
