I'm transferring from a community college this november, and I need help in preparing my personal statement. I plan to transfer to UC Berkeley or San Diego.
Any other suggestion about transferring is also greatly appreciated.

Great, I'm planning to do the same. I wish you the best of luck. Apply to UCLA also though. And you do noe that you can apply for scholarship? Yea, so do that also. And furthermore, you get the same degree as someone who goes in straight, weird. hahah good luck

For the Berkeley personal statement, dont ever mention anything about Stanford (seriously).
Just exaggerate some of your skills (but dont make it look too fake though)
