What does it mean when you saw the top of the cab and windshield off of a truck and drive it around in the field?

In most states, your truck can NO longer be legally driven on ANY highway ANYWHERE in the U.S....probably failed the state DMV/Highway Patrol vehicle inspection quicker than cooking bacon in a microwave oven

It means you really don,t care about the vehicle anymore and the only reason I could think of for doing something like that would be.......................OK I can,t think of any.
