My friend's grandma lives in Hendersonville so we are staying there, but I have never been to Asheville. I hear the vibes there are great so let me in on some little secrets if you know any. Drum circles, concerts, art exhibits, festivals or the like. Thanks.

one night a month there is a drumming circle on pack square downtown, and almost any night you can find some live music at one of the local digs. anything from bluegrass to funk to metal. Also if you need a place to eat, try the mellow mushroom as they have the best pizza in town and and quite an interesting environment. definitely visit the Biltmore house.

Make sure to see the Biltmore House and Gardens in Asheville.
It is something to behold, they may even have a website I'm not sure.
