Dreaming is essential to our mental health and well being, even for those who do not remember their dreams. There might be several reasons for your dream, and no one can tell you for certain why you have that dream. There are patterns in dreams however, and you can learn from them.
Generally if you have a reoccurring dream about the same subject, it is because of an unresolved issue in your life. Most often this issue is something that you have repressed during your waking hours.
For example, in this case you may have tried to get over this girl and had difficulty doing that, so during waking hours you literally pushed the thoughts away when they triggered unhappy feelings.
In the dream you are attempting to resolve this, the way you would *like it to be*. But perhaps you have to "let go" of this loss, and do so in the conscious mind so that it is forever resolved. Usually the letting go process involves coming to terms with how you really feel, and not denying the grief you feel about the loss.
You seem to be going in circles with this dream, imagining that you will get back with this girl when in fact it is probably not possible.
You can sometimes control dreams and influence the outcome!
Next time you go to bed, focus on that dream while you are still awake, just before falling asleep. Create a new ending that you can live with; one that is realistic and insist to yourself that the dream will have a different outcome this time. For example, you may choose to meet up with this girl in the dream and have a great conversation about how you appreciate one another but that both of you decide it was not meant to be a serious relationship. The important thing is to determine an end that is plausible, and one that offers you a peaceful closure.
This is a long answer, but honestly, the dream process is so important and people really can work out problems and losses in their sleep.
Sweet dreams!

Maybe the reason why you keep getting this dream is because in your subsconscious mind, that's what you really want. That is ,that you are together with this girl that you like and possibly love. And you can not accept the inevitable fact, that she had moved on and decided to go out with another dude. Maybe it's about time ,you should do the same thing and move on with your life. Put a period to that relationship. Have you ever listen to that song by James Blunt:You're Beautiful . It succintly drive that thoughts home. And it's not far from the truth. It's about time you face the truth. Cause I'll never be with you. JB got the award for the best male video., for that song. I'm not encouraging you though to commit suicide because no woman or girl is worth it. Someday you'll find the one for you.

It seems to me that when we contemplate extensively on a particular subject during our waking hours the 'dream brain' is full of those thoughts and uses that tableau as a back drop for other dream events. The only thing to figure out now is who you are going to date now that Miss Right has taken a turn with Mr. Wrong. One of the best ways to get a woman's attention is to 'pretend' to be disinterested in them. Don't be rude just cool....
I think everyone has these dreams. It's just one of those human verities that we always want what is beyond our reach. Find a new love and start having fun. Don't dwell on the unattainable. Good luck and pleasant dreams.

You dream about her because you like something about her but not this girl specifically.
Perhaps she's the closest thing to what you might be looking for in a future relationship but youre not ready to be in a real one just yet.

Are you dating someone now? This sounds like a little bit of insecurity coming through in your dreams.

dreams are contrary, you should put her outta your mind and find someone else. after all she has already dumped you for someone else, so she would look cooler. sad to say thats the reason she would dump you, you dont need her anyways. GOOD LUCK!!

your emotions are seeping into your unconscious mind. i say get over her, because if you're a great kid and didn't want to be with you to be popular, then she's not worth getting all depressed. focus on your study or school activity. you won't even think of her.
