Zidane is the greatest player of his generation and the greatest player ever with Pele and Maradona.He fulfilled France dream of winning a world cup in 1998 and also won the Euro Cup 2000 for them.In 2006 again he ,almost single handedly, reached the finals of World CUp for France.His football skills are amazing.He can change the course of any match.He can do wonders with the ball.Inspite of all this success, he has nevr forgotten his roots.He is the president of a kids soccer club in his poor hometown.He is very shy , modest and down to earth.His actions in the WC 2006 finals showed that he is a true brother and son. And above all a true man with moral values who loves his family and can do anythin to support their honour.He is also a philanthropist and is invlved in many charity organizations.He has a good personality and is loved by all his team and club mates.He is a nice family man.He is also a good captain.My respect for him enhanced even more on July 9 2006.
Above all, he is the man coz of whom I fell in love with football.
Words will fall short to express my admiration for him coz he is so awesome.So I guess i should stop now...

I like zinadine zidane.. he has great skill, probably one of the best footballer of all time.. probably top 20
he has amazing skill, great agility, and a full package... he is simply a force to be reckoned with. the amazing thing he did was everybody(99%) percent loved him in his time. he is over now, too bad
^ ^ that is from a skill point of veiw.... personally, temper, social business, and how he interacts with players does not matter in this question....
Probably all of us have bee mesmerized but his amazing skill at least once, that is why we admire Zidane.

He is arguably the most gifted soccer player of all time. He also happens to be an amazingly nice guy. I know that's hard to believe if your first exposure to him was seeing him headbutt another player, but it's true. He's normally a gentleman and his teammates LOVE him. He should have done what Mcbride did when a luney Italian player put aside all sportsmanship and he should have walked away, but as we all know there are certain comments that we may hear in certain circumstances that make us explode. Remember Bernie Goetz in NYC? A nice guy gets threatened on the subway by 3 cocky thugs and he lost it and shot them and he was aquitted of all charges by a biracial jury. People have their threshholds for BS. He still should have walked though.

Everything about him is so great...
He helped his team reach the final, win the world cup 1998 and the euro cup 2000. He is simply the best.

because he is a skillfull headbutter, definetely one of the big time legends in the headbutting sports. his flair and techniques are immaculate when it comes to headbuttin others. All I do is : instead of watching the bullfigting match, I watch him. So entertaining!
