Hello i left with my boyfriend being sneaky and i got locked out so i had to called up my stepdad when i finally got home he was siting in the driveway so my boyfriend kept going then he turned back around and dropped me off my stepdad wants to know why he did this i need to make up something before they get off work.

I wish i could tell them the truth but my parents are overprotective i dont wont to tell them anything that would hurt them iam almost and adult why should it matter to them why he rode around the block before dropping me off why should my stepdad care i told him to keep going but i need to have a explanation like always iam not a baby anymore.

Try being honest with your parents instead of making up lies. You might be in some hot water initially, but your parents will have more respect and trust for you in the end for being truthful. Besides, one lie will lead to another, and soon there will be a tangled web of lies that you will have to keep track of. If you tell the truth, you face the consequences, but there's no worry of something coming back to bite you in the *** sometime later. A wise man once told me "No one believes a liar even when they are telling the truth".

Depends on the real reason why he kept going, must be bad if you can't tell the truth. Seems to me the hard part would be getting cought sneaking, your parents probly know the truth or can guess, so just be honest.

Tell them you already new you were in trouble so you decided to finish listening to the song that was playing on the radio before you got out, then make sure you come up with a good song that you were listening to.
