Because the bible thumpers can probably find 10 bible verses that they can twist into meaning that seeing nipples is immoral and will send you straight to hell.

Its part of the body.There's nothing wrong with showing them.This majority of the people in this country are sooooo hypercritical.Men walk around with no shirt and that's okay.I've seen some guys who boobs were sagging so much they needed a bra.I blame the religious right ultra consertative ignorent asses who think leaves should start falling the day after Labor day .It should snow on Christmas eve on their way to church services or at least when they are coming out of church.When these things dont happen its because we let too many foreigners in the country.

Nothing, but crazy laws. Earlier this year I came across a French show on TV, and saw there were pre-teen children in the audience and topless women on stage. North America has some strange laws.

If you showed female nipples on TV then you'd have to start showing guy's nads too. I'd say it worth keepin' the nipples on the internet to avoid the wirehaired knutsacks on TV!

It's ridiculous, it's part of the human body. The FCC needs to lighten up and parents need to realize it isnt the 18th century, kids know what boobies when they're born...

They are too good in inducing lascivious and prurient interest without necessarily adding to the content of a program. That said there are a lot of breasts on TV.
