Yes... Yes... Yes!!! Sorry I get excited about ornamental grasses. You can safely plant most grasses up till about the end of October. After that it gets a little iffy. If you are looking for tall grass than your best bet is a maiden grass Miscanthus sinensis cultivars. The largest is Giganteus but that one you can't find anywhere. In it's place the next largest ones are Silver Feather (7' with a loose texture), Zebrinus (6' dense with tan horizontal bands, Gracillimus (6' wonderful plant that has been in gardens around the world since the victorian era) Graziella (6' improved? gracillimus, tends to be more open with a coarser texture to it and much more horizontal in appearance)

Shoot I gotta run but check those out. There are other great grasses as well. Just don't fall for the trap everyone else does in NE and plant grasses with purple red foliage all season (not a one of them is hardy here!)

Oh, no. utilising tweezers, or folding slightly paper so as which you would be able to faucet some seeds at a time from those placed on it, place one or 2 seeds approximately an inch aside on the exterior of a container of commencing combination. The container may well be any super, flat container (the disposable sheetcake pans artwork nicely, and contain a sparkling disguise), or a seed-commencing cellular %.. in user-friendly terms slightly disguise the seed, and save moist till they're 2-3 inches severe (masking with sparkling plastic helps save the moisture consistent). heavily transplant to extra suitable pots till they're waiting to be planted out. wish this helps...

Yes you can but plant it immediately after the heat subsides and giving the grasses a good 2 months to establish their roots prior to the freezing temperatures
