Even if the fruit was falling from trees everywhere, there was fresh drinking water in the rivers and streams, and so on; man would still have to do some work to collect fruit and water, and perhaps etc.
Work is another fact of life. It is another mystery about existence. We can try to contemplate this issue and come up with some answers, but it still remains simply a fact of existence.

Well it could be a couple of things, money, cars, woman, taxes. But I feel that man works to survive in this world the best he can before he leaves it, who doesn't want all the good things in life.

Usually for the dollars you earn, but we are creators deep down and many like to create according to their talents. Many do not consider working at something that just comes to them easily as work, but rather the part of life that makes it worth living, because they are pationate about their ability, in example, song writers, singers, artists etc.

Because God commanded him to work. God created man to work. By the way, it is not work that is the problem, it is the toil that is caused by work. Work itself is not the curse that God gave us when Adam sinned, it is the toil that we get out of work that is the punishment. No one likes to work, but what we should dislike is the toil caused by the work.

He as to get food and is needs to do both.
Work for someone and gets paid or he goes out to find it by gathering or growing is food.
this is way you need to work but if you are a lazy bum you will die.

If he didn't, he'd be living on the streets with nothing. If he does, he has a house, food, clothing, car, and other ammenities that he wouldn't have if he didn't work.
