you can't and don't
such conflict always drive the marriage asunder
and you end up losing
keep in mind when you marry a foreign girl on a spousal visa
you sing a contract with the government promise to repay if she goes on welfare if the marriage does not last more than 5 years ( it used to be 3 ), and since most crash and burn on the 1st year, and 99% of the time the women goes on welfare ( where she suddenly becomes a legal expert on not remarrying for a while ) you end up getting soaked....
so NEVER marry a foreign girl unless she is of same religion or Catholic ( think Philipina.. they have the lowest divorce rate among foreign brides.. Indonesian women among the highest.. )

I grew up muslim and i married a christian. It is not true that either of you have to change religions, but I would advise you that culture, more than religion, could cause problems. The best measure of what a man expects from a wife is his mother. Is she very modest? How would he feel about you in a bikini at the beach? Is she the type of woman to baby all the men in the family? Are you? Do you see where I'm going here? My husband and I believe exactly the same things, but we have a different vocabulary for these things. He works in Christian ministry and I have worked in it with him. That, despite what some of the writers here say, is not in conflict with my beliefs. Cultural differences, way of life, he drinks and I don't, things like that are harder to navigate. Are your values and lifestyle the same? That is what will matter most when you have kids. I wish you happiness, whatever you decide.

you do realize she just want to come to america right...I mean o yea she'll be your wife then she'll start askin you to send money to her family because they need help..ofcourse nothings wrong with that till her family starts callin you personally asking for more...then it finally slips out her mouth how many kids she already has in indonesia who are living happily with thier father of off your money........seriously if you plan on marrying her or not you should fly out there and atleast go on a date and get to know her more...you owe it to yourself..besides thats the only way to get her to the usa, by marrying her there in a christian marriage!!

You can't just wave a magic wand and turn from Christian to Muslim. Muslims have very different beliefs. They believe to kill all infidels so they can get to heaven. As a Christian, you are considered an infidel (non believer). Do us a favor and leave this woman over there. We have enough hatred in our country. And if you decide to convert to muslim faith....stay there with her honey.

Well, just do what you just said. I would've given the same advice, but you already said it, so all you got to do is do it. But, marry in USA, it's much better:D Good Luck!

I don't think the Immigration Service is concerned with your religious affiliation.
