There are 24 hours in one day
There are 365 days in one calandar year (about 365.25 in a true solar orbit) so....
60x60x24x365=31,536,000 seconds in one calandar year

Simple.

1 year = 365 days
1 day = 24 hours
1 hour = 60 minutes
1 minute = 60 seconds

We have 2 years, so 2(365*24*60*60)s, or 63,072,000 seconds.
