b when its time the cheerleaders gives them to the persons that got 1

well i had bought one to this guy i have a crush on n i hadnt put my bname on it i put secret admirer.
days passed it was the last day to buy them. n i saw a girl that i really dont have a good frienship with her she was buying one crushed can to the same guy i send one.
i got jelous n i decided to change secret admirer to my name
but now i kinda regret it now because i dont even talk to that guy.
should i talk to him before they give it to him the letter or just wait
