Don't you realize?

Being slim = Working out.
Being overweight = Eating and watching TV.

Overweight people are lazy, so why do you complain that you always lose to the slim people in every aspect of life except for eating contests?

I'm overweight & while I eat a pretty good amount of food, I also work out and play tennis a couple of times a week. Most slim people wouldn't be able to beat me in tennis. I know because I have beaten the great majority of thin players I've played. There's a difference between being overweight & being out of shape, and I can run pretty well even though I weigh over 200 pounds. I'm also known at my job for being sort of a workaholic -a lot of thinner people are much lazier than I am. I don't complain that I always lose to the slim people, because that's simply not the case.

Being slim does not necessarily means working out. Some slim people have a high matabolism or a thyroid gland problem which causes them to burn fat quickly.

Being overwieght does not necessarily means eating and watching TV. They too can have the opposit problem of a slim person meaning they may have a low matabolim which causes them to retain fat or an overactive/inactive thyroid gland problem which causes them to gain weight and retain it more than a slim person.

Also, some people who are overweight are confident therefore they feel they can do some of the things a slim person can do. Maybe, they like being with a slim person because they can be able to build up their confidence to be able to be slim one day.

Also, a slim person can be or is just as lazy as an overweight person.

Research medical studies for both slim and overweigt people before you make a general statement about overweight people. The research will stop you from being bias about overweight people

Hun, I'm overweight and have been most of my life and I have NEVER lost out to anyone slimmer than me! You are so full of mud and very insulting. You come spend one day with me in my life and you'll see I don't have time to be lazy. I'm a full time mother, I go to school full time and even some nights, I work out in my yard every chance I get and keep a somewhat clean home given that I have three children. I also workout when I have the time. Oh, and my husband works 3rd shift so 90% of everything around the house is done by ME! And did I mention that I also work on cars, which I am going to school for an associates degree after losing my right foot in an industrial accident? OOHHH how I can't stand people who say such stupid, insensitive and hurtful things like you just did! Grow up jerk and get a real perspective on life!

that's really hateful.
being overweight isn't always a result of being lazy! a lot of times it's a result of a health problem. and sometimes, medication that's used to treat one health problem can also cause weight gain!
not everyone who is slim is necessarily healthier, or better looking either.
what overweight people are complaining about losing to slim people anyway? hope one of them sits on you...Mr Judgmental.

Not all overweight people are lazy. Some have health problems that are the root of their being overweight. Laziness occurs in slim people as well.

I have two kids and am about 20lbs over weight. I don't sit on my butt all day and eat! I am running all over the place cleaning the house, taking care of my kids and two others that I watch. Just because I....

1. Can't afford to go to the gym and have a good amount of time to work out.

2. Don't have time to go to the gym, unless I take a kid with me.

3. Live in such a small town the only gym that is here is Curves!
( not that there is anything wrong with curves!)

So go back to your pathetic of a life, since you had time to come up with this question!

I have a family to raise and support! What do you have? YOU!?

I'm guessing you haven't been out in the real world a whole lot. Are you still living at home? I'm not trying to be rude, but usually people that are so incredibly vain and arrogent haven't actually spent time with real people. Real people tend to look for better qualities in another besides pant size and fat index. You'll find that out some day when you realize that who has really lost and what you've lost.

Hmm what about wrestling, body building and weight lifting? Don't see many skinny people winning those. You can be fit without being slim is my point. I have a 48 inch chest and a 32 inch waist. According to govt. weight charts I'm morbidly obese but I assure you you wouldn't want to try and beat me at racket ball.

first off, you are rude and small-minded.

not all overweight people are lazy or overeat or watch tv all the time. some of us are overweight, yet we are still successful, active, busy people. some of us work out, but aren't stick thin. some of us are lazy and sit on our asses. i have skinny friends who are less physically fit and active than me.

i don't feel that my size has ever kept me from doing or achieving anything that i've ever wanted. i've never lost a job to someone skinnier. i've never not been able to have the man i wanted. so, size isn't the issue. it's all about drive, motivation and ambition.

What in Heaven's name are you talking about? I'm 5'4" and about 155, so I'm considered overweight. But I work out and hard! I take karate 2-3 times per week, and I'm not lazy.
