What property is this?

i am looking for the property not the answer, like communitive, associative, etc...

Distributive property
The distributive property comes into play when an expression involving addition is then multiplied by something. It tells us that we can add first and then multiply, or multiply first and then add. Either way, the multiplication is "distributed" over all the terms inside the parentheses:

(1*1) + 8 = 1+8
1+8 = 1+8
9=9

It's multiplication. The two-sevenths and the 7/2 cancel eachother out leaving 1+8=1+8.

communitive ( can be rearranged like 6+7=7+6 or 5*6=6*5... and \additive! 14/14=8 is the same as 1 +8!!! hope it helps!

I don't know if you are looking for another answer or if you are referring to the fractions but 7/2 is the 'reciprocal' of 2/7

Here you show reciprocals. 2/7 and 7/2 multiply to one because they are reciprocals. No property... perhaps "Definition of reciprocals".

(2/7)*(7/2) = 1, both two and seven cancel out
