60 minutes in 1 hour ... = 3600 seconds in 1 hour
3500 - 3600 = 100 seconds
100 seconds ='s 1 minute & 40 seconds
Thus 3500 seconds = 58 minutes & 20 seconds

No wonder people are always late with answers like this. 60 seconds = 1 minute. 60 minutes = 1 hour. 60 x 60 = 3,600. So 3,500 seconds divided by 60 seconds = 58.33333 or 58 minutes 33 seconds.

60 seconds in a minute 3500/60=58 1/3
60 minutes in an hour 58.33333333333/60=0.972222
less than one hour...you might have to put it in fraction form, though

there are 60 seconds in a minute, so... divide 3500 by 60. then, divide by 60 again, because there are minutes in an hour... and babam!
